Hannah Ariotti - Director / Producer
Hannah is a narrative and commercial director with a distinct heartfelt and action-led style that has resonated across both screen and audio formats, for domestic and international audiences alike.
Her narrative projects include Maxwell & Sierra (Cannes Short Film Corner), Liquid Moonlight (Flickerfest), and Beyond Strange Lands (Audible). Her commercial portfolio spans clients including Goodlife, Pantene, TCL, Bayer, the WNBL, The Lott, Queensland Government, and Spicers Retreats. Her work has been recognised with a New York Times Telly Award, two BADC awards for Directing Craft, and countless ACS awards. Hannah embodies a unique perspective drawn from her experience as a writer, producer, and creative director, lending her a nuanced ability to create highly consumable entertainment.
She’s a country girl from Central Queensland and the daughter of Lou’s youngest boy, a passionate torch-bearer of the family history.
Carolina Gesser - Producer
Carol Gesser is an internationally recognised Producer and Production Manager based in Queensland, with over 20 years of experience across South America, Europe, and Australia.
Throughout her successful career in commercial production, Carol has held various roles that have equipped her with a deep understanding of every stage of the creative process, making her uniquely qualified to lead long-form storytelling projects. Having collaborated with renowned clients such as IKEA, Vodafone, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola, TIM, Virgin Australia, and various Australian government bodies, Carol is now expanding her focus to include long-form storytelling initiatives, such as the documentary The Life of Lou.
Passionate about bringing creative visions to life, Carol excels at telling compelling and meaningful stories. With exceptional organisational skills, she prioritises open communication and fosters a positive work environment, nurturing diverse talents to create extraordinary projects.
Lesley Fitzpatrick - Consulting Producer
EdD, MA, BA, (s)GNIF
Lesley’s work has focused on enhancing the resilience of rural, regional and remote areas of Australia, primarily through supporting the development and sustainability of the rural health workforce and leadership in primary industries and rural communities.
Much of her experience has been in the rural medical and health sector. She was Director of the Cunningham Centre (Queensland Health), National General Manager of Medical Education (General Practice Education and Training Ltd) and National Director of the Australian Rural Health Education Network. She was also Chief Executive of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.
Lesley used these opportunities to contribute to the re-orientation, development and implementation of policies and programs that work towards a sustainable and viable rural Australia. She holds a master degree and a doctorate in sociology and is a Fellow of the Sir Gustav Nossal International Fellowship for Leadership in Health Reform. In 2012 Lesley was acknowledged by the Financial Review and Westpac as one of Australia’s 100 Women of Influence.
Lesley’s doctoral thesis (Inventing Cultural Heroes: A Critical Exploration of the Discursive Role of Culture, Nationalism and Hegemony in the Australian Rural and Remote Health Sector) focused of the experience of rural doctors and their contribution to the establishment of the distinct profession of rural medicine. Among other dedicated women and men, her subjects included Dr Louis Ariotti, who is often called ‘the father of rural generalism’.
Danny Haneman - Cinematographer
Danny is a Queensland based cinematographer known for his creative vision and technical expertise. His journey through the film industry has seen him traverse various roles in the camera department, enriching his understanding of each aspect of production. Haneman’s work is characterized by a passion for storytelling and a dedication to innovation, often pushing the boundaries to bring unique perspectives to his projects.
His work spans from commercial and branded content to award winning documentaries. His particular love for artistic and experimental work brings a unique result to each project.
He thrives on collaboration, believing that the best results come from working closely with others, and values the impact his work can have on the broader community.
